The third Hawk European Tour stage in Milan (Italy)

Nicola Giodano (16 years old) is the winner of the third Hawk European Tour stage

The third Hawk European Tour stage took place on the 20^th of May 2007 near Milan, at the Trinity skatepark. It’s just opened last January. However, it’s already one of the most famous and connected places for Italian teenagers. The secret? A great street area with a mini ramp and… a roof! This is the unique Italian indoor skatepark.

The Hawk European Tour gathered parents and children for a great, joyful and rockn’roll skating time.

It was a successful stage with more than 40 riders (10 to 17 years old) and 300 spectators.

The level was amazingly high. For most of the competitors, it was their first skating contest and most of them, like Ivan Inglese and Marco Giordano, are already brilliant skaters.

Nicola Giodano, 16 years old, was the winner of this stage. He competed in the category aged 14 -18. He has been skating for 3 years and already has a great skating style.

In the category aged 10 - 14, his brother won the contest. A family story !!!

They have both a gift for skating!

Cherry on the cake, riders of the Hawk European Team like Gus king (United Kingdom), Werner Sandos (France), Thimothy Deconynck, Jarne Verbruggen (Belgium) and Raphael Brunis (Spain) flew down to Italy to give a great skating demonstration.

See you for the Fourth stage in London, on the 16th of June at the “Baysixty6 skatepark” and for the grand final in Anglet on August 22^nd 2007.
